About the Role
Our client is a well-established civil engineering and land surveying firm serving residential, commercial, and industrial development projects across Massachusetts and New England.
They are seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager to lead site and land development projects from design through permitting and construction support. This is an onsite, hands-on role working closely with partners, project managers, and municipal agencies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion
- Prepare site layout, grading, drainage, and utility designs
- Design stormwater management systems
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and consultants
- Support permitting and regulatory approval processes
- Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Ensure designs meet local, state, and environmental regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT / FE certification (required)
- 3+ years of civil or site engineering experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience with stormwater management design
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Soil Evaluator Certification
- Experience with HydroCAD
- Familiarity with Massachusetts permitting processes
- Land development project experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 (based on experience)
