Title: Engine Mechanic I
Location: San Diego, CA, 92121
Shift: 2nd (12:00 PM to 8:30 PM)
Qualifications
- Technical Education in related field.
- Hands on experience with gas turbine engines (preferred).
- Familiar with the manufacturing principles; planning, data systems etc.
- Must have High School diploma, or equivalent.
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder per FAA requirements.
Responsibilities
- This entry-level position requires the incumbent to learn, read, comprehend, and perform a variety of basic manufacturing methods to support disassembly, repair, and assembly of aero-derivative engines under the guidance of an experienced Engine Mechanic, Subject-Matter Expert (SME), Lead or Leader.
- Actively participates in OJT by learning and applying manufacturing techniques and knowledge to support disassembly, repairing and assembly of aero-derivative engines.
- Assists Engine Mechanics with preparing and visually inspecting parts, tools, reviewing sketches and technical information.
- Performs basic manufacturing, disassembly, and assembly of aero-derivative gas turbine engines.
- Work as scheduled, on time and every day.
- Observe the "Three Circles" with particular focus on Clients Values.
- Adherence to all Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures.
- All other duties assigned by Leadership.
