We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Digital Operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web, mobile, and connected-device streaming applications. Your work will be critical to delivering a seamless user experience across platforms and markets.

This is a hybrid position, working on-site Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays
Responsibilities

• Design and review comprehensive test cases tailored for both domestic and international markets.
• Identify and create "out-of-the-box" test scenarios to challenge functionality and robustness.
• Conduct regression, smoke, sanity, E2E and UAT testing across web, mobile, and OTT devices and platforms.
• Verify successful deployments and app store submissions through release regression test verification.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with remote/off-shore teams to coordinate testing efforts.
• Triage issues during live production, track bugs, manage defect reporting, and communicate statuses to Test, Release, and Project Managers.
• Support both manual and automated testing efforts as needed; contribute to test strategy improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Management.
• Proven experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Xray, Jira, Confluence or similar.
• Solid understanding of web and dynamic-content testing for applications.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience testing web, mobile, connected device, or OTT applications (e.g. set-top boxes, smart TVs, streaming devices).
• Knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or SOAPUI.
• Familiarity with media playback, video streaming, DRM, CDN, networking, SSL, firewalls, and security protocols.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience using automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress).
• Familiarity with mobile device automation using tools like Appium, Espresso, or BrowserStack.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD workflows.
• Passion for digital media platforms and the entertainment/streaming industry.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines, adapt quickly, and maintain organized test documentation.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $60 - $70 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
