Role: Estimator

Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid)

Salary: $100,000 – $145,000 + Benefits

I’m partnering with a highly respected, award-winning General Contractor with a strong presence across the Mid-Atlantic region, including a steady pipeline of federal and complex commercial work. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Estimator to their preconstruction team in Baltimore, Maryland, offering a hybrid work arrangement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who wants to be part of a well-established GC known for winning work the right way — through strong relationships, accurate estimating, and a collaborative preconstruction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates from schematic design through GMP
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor bids
• Develop budgets, conceptual estimates, and cost models
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and ownership during preconstruction
• Assist with value engineering, scope clarification, and risk analysis
• Support proposal development and bid presentations

What They’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience working as an Estimator for a General Contractor
• Experience estimating federal and/or complex commercial projects strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods
• Ability to produce accurate estimates under tight deadlines
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
