Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Superintendent (Tilt-up) to oversee and manage the construction of tilt-up projects, particularly in light industrial and distribution center environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tilt-wall construction and a proven track record of successfully leading construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee the entire tilt-up construction process from planning to completion.
- Coordinate daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to discuss project specifications and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure their work aligns with project objectives and standards.
- Prepare daily reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a Superintendent in tilt-up and tilt wall construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Experience in managing light industrial and distribution center projects.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
