Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for an RN at CDI Answers, a CDI Search Group company. The Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate medical codes for services provided to inpatients. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations, and the ability to ensure documentation supports the codes assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Certification as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years acute care experience in a hospital setting
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in clinical documentation practices
• Ability to work independently and also collaborative in nature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
