Mechanical Construction Assistant (Mechanical or High Purity Piping)- Austin, TX AREA

What You’ll Do

• Handle project paperwork and site management.
• Review specifications and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with engineering firms to ensure compliance.
• Monitor construction progress and manage schedules for fabrication/installation.
• Report project status to management and clients.
• Provide mentorship support in welding tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years in Mechanical or High Purity Piping construction.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings.
• Experience with Chemical Piping a plus.
• Proficiency with BIM, MS Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
