Job Description

The Physical Inventory and Inventory Control Representative will provide analysis, accompanied with customer service and support to stores and other internal support teams. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line’s core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following main duties:

  • Reconcile physical inventory counts against system records to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate with stores and Area Managers to share inventory findings and gather information needed for research
  • Resolve store inventory issues by utilizing Microsoft Office, Google, Jira, and other internal applications
  • Assist Customer Service and stores with any direct to consumer inventory issues
  • Partner with IT and Supply Chain teams when necessary to help resolve problems quickly and prevent errors
  • Additional duties and projects as required

Required Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least 2 – 4 years of retail experience and 1-2 years experience with inventory control related systems and processes. JD Finish Line experience preferred.

Required Computer and/or Technical Skills

Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Google suite software, and competence in learning how to maximize the use of new software.
