Job Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 30 employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in driving production efficiency, ensuring safety, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing supervision, with a hands-on approach to managing daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Projects You'll Work On:

• Establishing and maintaining production expectations related to efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Overseeing daily production needs, managing work instructions, and supporting team productivity.
• Monitoring production metrics, educating the team on performance, and implementing improvement strategies.
• Providing resources and support to hourly personnel to achieve their daily goals.
• Communicating effectively with employees through both written and verbal channels.
• Keeping accurate and detailed records of production activities.
• Upholding plant policies and procedures while operating manual and automated production equipment.
• Coaching team members and fostering their professional growth and development.
• Collaborating with Human Resources in the hiring, training, and development of staff.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of continuous improvement programs.

What Experience You Should Bring:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent; a Certificate or Associate Degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing supervision.
• Strong visual skills to monitor and improve production processes.
