Job Description

We are recruiting for an Associate Attorney for a prominent personal injury firm in Texas. This customer has a dynamic legal team with multiple offices across the state. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an Associate with experience in automobile accidents to their Fort Worth location.

What you'll do

  • Provide legal counsel to clients, explaining legal processes and potential outcomes in clear and understandable terms.
  • Building strong attorney-client relationships rooted in our core values of transparency, integrity, tenacity, responsibility and compassion.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including discovery, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties to secure the best possible settlement for our clients.
  • Prepare for and attend trial.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure efficient case progress.

Qualifications

  • JD from accredited law school.
  • Active license in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
  • Minimum of 1-4 years of personal injury litigation experience, including motor vehicle accidents. (Plaintiff or Defense)
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

  • 1st year: $120K plus bonus
  • 3–4 years: $160K–$200K plus bonus
