As a Medical Technologist with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, you’ll be at the center of critical diagnostic work—performing precise laboratory testing, validating results, and ensuring physicians have the accurate data they need for life-changing decisions. You’ll operate advanced laboratory equipment, mentor others in best practices, and contribute to the development of innovative testing techniques.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform and validate routine and specialized lab tests to deliver accurate, timely results.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate lab instruments to ensure peak performance.
  • Collect and process specimens with absolute accuracy in patient identification and labeling.
  • Prepare culture media, reagents, and solutions, ensuring consistent quality control.
  • Analyze lab data, detect trends, and recommend solutions.
  • Mentor and guide students, interns, and new staff.
  • Uphold the highest standards in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Infection Control.

What you bring:

  • ASCP certification (Medical Technologist, Categorical, or Specialist)
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory instruments, procedures, and quality standards
