Job Description

We are seeking a Imaging Engineer with expertise in signal processing to contribute to advanced camera and vision technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including algorithm development, software tools, and image quality engineering, to deliver innovative imaging solutions across next-generation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize real-time firmware for imaging and vision systems, including control algorithms such as auto-exposure, auto-white-balance, and flicker detection.

  • Develop and enhance firmware for ISP pipeline functions such as HDR, noise reduction, and image enhancement.

  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate imaging algorithms into embedded platforms.

  • Support the development of simulation models for image and video processing components.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on imaging firmware architecture and best practices.

  • Mentor engineers to build technical depth and support career development.

  • Contribute to research initiatives in sensor integration, computer vision, and machine learning.

  • Partner with platform and driver engineering teams to improve performance and ensure smooth integration.

  • Support productization efforts by assisting image quality and applications teams during customer deployments.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and training resources.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience :

    • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years, OR

    • Master’s degree with 4+ years, OR

    • Ph.D. with 2+ years of professional experience.

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Imaging Science, or related fields with focus on image/signal processing or control systems.

  • Technical Skills :

    • Proven experience with ISP or imaging pipeline development in automotive, mobile, consumer, or industrial products.

    • Proficiency in C programming; familiarity with C++, MATLAB, or Python is a plus.

    • Background in developing real-time embedded firmware for imaging or related systems.

  • Professional Skills :

    • Ability to mentor and support other engineers.

    • Strong experimental, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
