Akkodis is seeking a Regulatory Project Manager / Regulatory Compliance Lead with a client in Newark DE 19702-Hybrid for 9 months contract (with opportunity to conversion to Fulltime).

Pay Rate: $80-$85/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description

The Regulatory Project Manager will lead regulatory and compliance filings from initiation through completion for the New Jersey and Delaware Regulatory teams. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end filing activities, coordinating across multiple departments, ensuring regulatory requirements and deadlines are met, and supporting post-filing discovery activities. The individual will also contribute to ad-hoc regulatory deliverables and drive continuous process improvements across regulatory operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end regulatory and compliance filings for New Jersey and Delaware, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time submission

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to meet filing deadlines and regulatory requirements

Coordinate cross-functional teams including Legal, Regulatory, Finance, Operations, IT, and external stakeholders

Prepare and execute communication and stakeholder engagement plans for filing initiation through submission

Organize and facilitate leadership reviews, approvals, and sign-offs

Ensure all required documentation, exhibits, and supporting materials are prepared and submitted in accordance with regulatory standards

Support post-filing discovery responses, managing information requests and coordinating responses across departments

Track issues, risks, and dependencies, escalating as needed to ensure successful outcomes

Assist with ad-hoc regulatory deliverables and special projects as required

Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and enhance efficiency in regulatory filing and discovery processes

Required Qualifications

Experience managing regulatory or compliance filings within a highly regulated environment

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines

Proven ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams and senior leadership

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with state regulatory bodies, particularly in New Jersey and/or Delaware

Background in utilities, energy, or other regulated industries

Experience supporting regulatory discovery responses

Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
